Show-and-tell in schools presents an opportunity for students to have fun, learn, and share their stories. It's generally a positive, confidence-boosting experience for students; sometimes, however, the experience doesn't go exactly according to plan. The experience can turn negative and potentially have damaging effect on a student; however, there are measures we can take in order to prevent this.
