An Iowa woman was killed in a car crash Wednesday, that involved a semi-truck loaded with hogs. The 65-year-old woman, of Manning, died when her vehicle collided with the semi-tractor after she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of two county roads, according to Iowa State Police.

The accident occurred when the woman was traveling south on M-66, and the driver of the semi-tractor, a 29-year-old man of Caleridge, Nebraska, was traveling east on F-24, en-route to deliver 400 feeder pigs.

After the crash, the truck and the car ended up in a south ditch. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The truck driver was not injured in the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
