Man, 90 Killed in Car Accident

A 90-year-old man lost his life in a truck accident on Thursday when his Grand Marquis crossed the center median into oncoming traffic, crashing nearly head-on, with a dump truck that was traveling southbound.

The man died shortly after the crash happened at 4pm today. The driver of the pick up truck was not injured in the accident, according to police.

The man did have his seatbelt on at the time of the accident, according to a report made by the Iowa Department of Transportation. The accident occurred on Washington Avenue.

As of this evening, the accident is still being investigated by Police.
